Since the UK went in to lockdown on 23rd March, the Evertime team has been working hard to implement the changes that the government has issued for businesses who need to Furlough their workers, so that the software allows you to make the correct payment under this new scheme.
We have provided guidance to Evertime license holders, but we still wanted to pull some information together on our blog so that you have some clarity around our approach. Firstly, it’s important to stress that this information is correct on the day of publication (24 April 2020) and secondly, we are often getting the information about the situation from the government at the same time as our clients. This means we need to take some time to review it, understand the implications and make changes to the software so that you can make the calculations you need to for your workers.
We’ve pulled together some of the questions that we are asked regularly by our clients. We’d always advise you to take legal advice before making any sort of offer as our recommendations are guidance based on our interpretation of the legislation that is coming through. We take our guidance from the www.gov.uk website, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, APSCO and the FCSA, (EdenGroup was recently awarded FCSA accreditation).

The Evertime team has been working on some brilliant changes which will allow you to run an effective pay and bill for your contract and temporary workers and calculate the furlough payment for the workers you wish to furlough. As a cloud-based solution, Evertime is accessible from anywhere providing you have a secure internet connection. Fortunately, our customers have been able to operate as normal and there has been no interruption to service.
For Evertime, we continue to operate as normal, although our team is now based from home. We hope that all of our customers are keeping safe and well and we are available at the end of the phone when you need us.
